ALARM/SNOOZE SETTING
1. Keep the ALM SET key (4) pressed for 2 seconds. The hours will start blinking.
2. Press the + and - keys (1 and 2) to set the time.
3. Press the ALM SET key (3) to switch to the minute setting.
4. Press the TM SET key (3) to confirm the settings.
5. The symbol of the alarm clock will be automatically displayed to indicate that the alarm is on.
6. The alarm will come on at the preset time. The alarm can be turned off temporarily several times
by pressing the SNOOZE key (6). After 5 minutes, the alarm starts ringing again.
7. Press the ON/OFF key (6) to activate or deactivate the alarm.
TUNES AND ‘GOOD CHEER’ LIGHT USE
1. Switch the selector (8) to the first position (musical note and light bulb symbols).
2. Press the PAUSE key (10) to switch on the tunes and the ‘good cheer’ light.
3. Press the VOL +/- keys to increase or decrease the tune volume.
4. Switch the selector (8) to the second position (light bulb symbol) to display only the ‘good
cheer’ light, with no tunes.
5. Press the PAUSE key (10) to stop playback.
6. Switch the selector (8) to OFF to disable playback.
DAY COUNT
1. Keep the DAY COUNT key (3) pressed for 2 seconds. The hours will start blinking.
2. Press the ON/OFF key (6). The year will start blinking.
3. Press the + and - keys (1 and 2) to set the year.
4. Press the DAY COUNT key (3) to switch to the next settings (year>month>day).
5. Adjust the various options as described at step 3.
6. Press the ALM SET key (4) to confirm the settings.
7. An alarm will ring for five minutes at midnight of the preset day.
8. Press the SNOOZE key (6) to stop the alarm.
9. The days to count cannot be more than 2,999.
AC/DC ADAPTER USE
A DC 3V socket is located on the back of the SLB 3020 to connect it with an AC 230V-50Hz/DC
3V adapter (not included), which can be used to power only the tunes and the ‘good cheer’
light.
It is possible to use batteries to power the clock/calendar, the display light and the alarm, and an
adapter to power the tunes and the ‘good cheer’ light.
Note: the tunes and the ‘good cheer’ light work also if powered by batteries only.
